This lovely pieced silk quilt was made by textile artist Sharon Harris. It was a joy to quilt because of its open patchwork and shimmering fabric. Collaborating with Sharon was a wonderful creative experience. Doing the thread-work felt like adding icing to a sumptuous cake. Below are two close-up photos of my quilting on the finished piece.
